Gophers Blow, Vikes Blow, Send Spree Packing

Once again, the Minnesota Gophers have given fans a reason why not to buy season tickets. Local sportwriter and columnist Sid Hartman always whines about the attendance at the Gopher games, wondering aloud why they don't part with their cash, and watch some good entertainment. We do not want to see blowouts! It is no fun to watch the Gophers beat up on Bathroom-Cookman by 55, or watching them get cooked by Michigan State by 30.
We just want to see them win a big game, when they are GOOD, like they were supposed to be this year. But they consistantly lose the big ones, and we stay away.

And then the Vikes. Here we go again. Just like last year. We know now that they are going to lose 3 in a row. They are going to get snuffed by the Colts, and the Pack will show them after that. We might win one before we eat turkey on the 25th.

If Randy Moss means that much to our team, we are hurting. Big time. Just 3 days ago, Dante was in a race with nobody for the MVP. Melwelde was another slashing Chuck Foreman. This team is not a one horse team. Hope not.

And lastly, Spree could have signed with anyone during the off season, but elected to keep the 14.6 mil to play with the scrap of the heap Wolves. Now he says give me more, or trade me. To who? Nobody will pay him even 10 million. Who could you get for him? Let him come off the bench. Period. No longer part of the big 3. Ha!
