Future of the Wolves

So how do you look at the T-Wolves as to the future? I know for a team that has battled a curse since before J.R. Ryder came up the pike, things may not look to rosy if looking at the Won-loss record. The history of their recent drafts since Kevin McHale has directed the ship has been dismal at best, and future draft choices have been somewhat mortgaged. K.G.'s big contract continues to hinder the makeup of the team. Bleak? You bet. Silver lining somewhere? Yes!

The fuse has been lit, and when the addition of a rebounding athletic forward to compliment K.G. comes, LOOK OUT. Four fifths of a potent lineup are in the begining stages to dominate the league for a minimum of 5 years. Enough has been written about Randy Foye to know he is going to be a keeper, and the point guard they have needed for since Stephen Marbury. Rashad McCants is the second piece that will help us to forget Wally whats his name. When his knee is seasoned, ALL STAR. Almost by accident, Mark Blount is the best center that the Wolves have had since, maybe, Christian Laettner. Then Kevin Garnett. Enough said.

One more player! Come on McHale, just pull one rabbit out of your sweater. Defy the odds. Get us a Mark Madsen type enthusiastic banger that can score about 15 a game and pull 12 rebounds. They are out there. Do your job.
